Cargo
Platform : UDK
Release date : April 2013 Role: project lead, 3D artist Cargo was a first person exploration game in the vein of myst. You controlled a astronaut on an exploration mission to a strange planet. It took place over the course of a week, and each day the local civilization would jump forward in technological progress. My big task was to create a HUD that called to mind Metroid Prime - the hud had a slight delay when the player moved, making it feel like you were inside of a large, bulky spacesuit. I also did most of the writing in the form of messages from your "mission buddy" that were displayed in a running line at the bottom of the screen. |
Departure
Platform : xbla Release date : April 2013 Role : project lead, artist This game was an experiment in glitches. the longer you played it, the glitcher it got. The team was small, around 3 people, so I had to pitch in wherever needed. I worked on the UI and made sure that the art was consistent and workable. funny story, it was on display at the college and caused a number of people to be late to classes. |
